Applying for a passport for your child or minor is a process that requires careful attention to specific documentation requirements. At Agarwal Passport Consultant and Services, we specialise in minor passport applications across Noida, Greater Noida, Greater Noida West, Noida Extension, and Ghaziabad — handling all documentation including Annexure H, parental consent forms, and birth certificate verification.
📄 Documents Required
Child's Birth Certificate (from hospital or Municipal Corporation)
Child's Aadhaar Card (if available) or School Photo ID
Both Parents' Aadhaar Cards
Both Parents' Passports (if available) — first and last page copy
Annexure H — declaration by parents (we draft this)
Passport-size photographs of the child — 2 nos., white background
School Certificate or Bonafide Certificate (for school-going children)
Tip for Newborns
Even newborns and infants need their own passport for international travel — they cannot be included in a parent's passport. We handle newborn passport applications with special care, ensuring all documentation is correct for very young children.
⭐ Why Choose Agarwal Passport Consultant?
We have processed over 5,000 passports across Noida NCR with a zero-rejection track record. Our pre-PSK document audit catches every potential issue before your visit — ensuring your passport is approved on the first attempt.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How old does a child need to be for a passport?▼
There is no minimum age requirement. Even a newborn baby needs their own passport for international travel. We handle passport applications for children of all ages including infants.
Can a child passport be Tatkal?▼
Yes, minor passports can also be applied under the Tatkal scheme. The process and documents are the same as normal, with an additional ₹2,000 Tatkal fee and Annexure F requirement. We handle Tatkal minor passports on priority.
Do both parents need to visit PSK for minor passport?▼
Ideally yes, but it is not always mandatory. At minimum, one parent must accompany the child to PSK. The other parent must provide Annexure H signed consent. We advise based on your specific family situation.
My child has an expired passport — how to renew?▼
Minor passport renewal follows the same re-issue process. You will need the old expired passport along with current documents. Note that if the child has turned 18, they will need to apply as an adult with a new 10-year passport, even if the minor passport has not expired yet.
